From the center of Downtown Roanoke, start at the intersection of Market Street and Campbell Avenue. Head southeast on Campbell Avenue toward 4th Street SW. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with 7th Street SW. Turn left onto 7th Street SW and continue walking for another 5 minutes. You will reach the Roanoke River and Railroad Historic District located at 7 Old Woods Ave. The walk is approximately 0.6 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes.
