Car
If you're driving to Cascade Locks from Portland, take I-84 E (the Columbia River Gorge Interstate). Follow I-84 E for about 40 miles, passing through scenic views along the Columbia River. Take exit 44 towards Cascade Locks. After exiting, continue straight on Cascade Ave which will lead you directly into the town. Follow signs for parking once you arrive.
Public Transportation
To reach Cascade Locks via public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express from Portland. Board the bus at the Gateway Transit Center. The bus will take you along the scenic route, and you should disembark at the Cascade Locks stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the main area of Cascade Locks. Check the schedule ahead of time for departure times.
Car
If you are coming from Hood River, take OR-35 N to I-84 W. Merge onto I-84 W and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 44 towards Cascade Locks and follow the signs to Cascade Ave. This will bring you into the heart of Cascade Locks where you can find parking.
