Once on I-84 E, continue for approximately 30 miles. Look for signs indicating Multnomah Falls (Exit 31). Take the exit and follow the signs, which will lead you to the parking area for Multnomah Falls Recreation Area. Note that there is a parking fee of $5 for the day.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Columbia Gorge Express bus service. These buses run daily from various locations, including Portland. Board the bus at the designated stops and request a stop at Multnomah Falls. The bus ride offers beautiful views of the Gorge and costs around $10 each way. Make sure to check the schedule in advance to plan your visit, as bus frequencies may vary, especially on weekends.

If you are an adventurous traveler and prefer biking, you can ride along the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail. From various points in the Gorge, follow the signs leading you towards Multnomah Falls. The ride is approximately 15 miles from Hood River or 30 miles from Portland.
