From any location within the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, head towards the town of Trout Lake, WA. Use the following directions: Take State Route 503 (Lewis River Road) North until you reach the junction with State Route 14. Turn East onto State Route 14. Continue on this road until you reach the turnoff for Trout Lake, which is State Route 32. Follow State Route 32 into the town of Trout Lake. Once in Trout Lake, look for signs directing you to the Guler Ice Caves. The entrance to the caves is located approximately 6 miles from Trout Lake on Guler Road, which is a gravel road. Please be aware that the road may be rough and is not recommended for low-clearance vehicles. There is no entry fee for the caves, but it's advisable to check road conditions before traveling.
