Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in downtown Lewisburg, start at the Greenbrier Valley Airport shuttle stop or the Lewisburg Visitor Center. Head southwest on Washington Street toward Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-219. Turn left onto US-219 South. Follow US-219 South for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Meadow Bridge; keep following those signs. After a few more miles, turn right onto Meadow Creek Road. Continue on Meadow Creek Road for about 1 mile, and the Sandstone Visitor Center will be on your left. The walk is approximately 2 hours and may require a good pair of walking shoes.

  • Biking

    If you have a bicycle, start from downtown Lewisburg. Ride south on US-219, following the same route as pedestrians. After about 5 miles, turn right onto Meadow Creek Road. The Sandstone Visitor Center will be on your left after about 1 mile. This trip should take around 30 minutes depending on your biking speed, and it’s a scenic ride through the beautiful West Virginia countryside.
