Ferry
If you are coming from Washington Island, take the Washington Island Ferry from the island to the mainland. Upon arriving at the ferry dock in Northport, head southwest on Northport Rd for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with WI-42. Turn left onto WI-42 South and continue for about 9 miles until you reach Ellison Bay. Once in Ellison Bay, keep an eye out for signs directing you to W Wisconsin Bay Rd, where the museum is located.

From Fish Creek, you can bike north on WI-42. The route is scenic and runs along the shoreline, taking you through several small towns. After approximately 8 miles, you will reach Ellison Bay. As you enter Ellison Bay, look for the sign for W Wisconsin Bay Rd. Turn left and continue for about 0.5 miles to reach Death's Door Maritime Museum at 12724 W Wisconsin Bay Rd.
