If you are starting from Fish Creek, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on WI-42, following the scenic route along the coast. The ride is approximately 10 miles and will take you through beautiful landscapes. Continue on WI-42 until you reach Ellison Bay. The Washington Island Ferry Line is located at 215 WI-42, which is on your right. Look for the signs indicating the ferry terminal.

From Sturgeon Bay, take the Door County Trolley service to Fish Creek. Once you arrive in Fish Creek, transfer to the Door County Trolley North route, which will take you directly to Ellison Bay. Disembark at the Ellison Bay stop, and walk to the ferry terminal located at 215 WI-42. It’s a short walk from the trolley stop to the ferry line.
