Ferry
To reach Washington Island Farm Museum from Door County, you will first need to take a ferry to Washington Island. The main ferry service is operated by Washington Island Ferry Line. Start from the village of Ellison Bay in Door County. Head southeast on WI-42 S for about 9 miles, then turn left onto WI-57 S and continue for approximately 6 miles. Follow the signs to the ferry dock at Northport, where you'll find the ferry terminal. The ferry to Washington Island departs regularly, so check their schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at the Washington Island ferry dock, disembark and head south on Jackson Harbor Road for about 2.5 miles until you reach the Washington Island Farm Museum at 1675 Jackson Harbor Rd.
