To reach the Wisconsin State Historical Marker 275: Bay View's Rolling Mill from the East Side, start by walking to the nearest bus stop for the Milwaukee County Transit System. Depending on your exact location, you can catch the #15 bus or #30 bus at a nearby stop. If you're on North Avenue, head towards the stop at North Avenue and Prospect Avenue. Board the bus heading south towards Bay View. The fare for a one-way trip is $2.25, so be sure to have exact change or a transit card ready. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at South Kinnickinnic Avenue and East Howard Avenue, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. From there, walk south on Kinnickinnic Avenue until you reach South Superior Street. The marker will be located on South Superior Street, near the intersection with East Howard Avenue.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby Bublr Bikes station. Locate a station in the East Side area and rent a bike using the Bublr app (the first 30 minutes are free, but longer rides incur a fee). Take North Avenue west towards Kinnickinnic Avenue, then turn south on Kinnickinnic Avenue. Continue biking south until you reach South Superior Street, where you will turn west (right). The marker will be on your left side, near the intersection with East Howard Avenue. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.

Continue walking until you reach South Kinnickinnic Avenue. Turn right (west) and proceed until you reach South Superior Street. Turn left (south) on South Superior Street; the Wisconsin State Historical Marker 275: Bay View's Rolling Mill will be located on your left. This walk is approximately 2.5 miles and should take around 50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
