Car
If you are driving from Laramie, WY, head north on US-287 N. Continue on US-287 N for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with WY-130. Turn right onto WY-130 E and continue for about 17 miles. Keep an eye out for signs for Rawah Wilderness as you approach the area. You can park at the trailhead located at the north end of the road near the Jelm Mountain access point.
Public Transportation + Car
Start your journey by taking a Greyhound or a local bus service from Laramie to the nearest bus stop to Jelm, WY. From the bus stop in Jelm, you will need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to take you to the Rawah Wilderness trailhead. This can be an additional cost and may require prior arrangements. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time, as public transportation options may be limited.
Hiking
