Car
If you're driving from Cody, WY, take US-14 E towards Greybull. Continue for about 50 miles until you reach the intersection with WY-37 S. Turn left onto WY-37 S and drive for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with County Rd #173. Turn left onto County Rd #173 and continue for about 5 miles. The Piedmont Charcoal Kilns State Historic Site will be on your right. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy, as some areas may have limited cell service.

Public transportation options are limited in the Bighorn Basin, but you can use the local bus service to get to Greybull. From Greybull, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Piedmont Charcoal Kilns, which is about 10 miles away.
