What to expect
Lima
Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our welcome team will meet you and accompany you on your private transfer to the hotel. There you can rest after your flight and receive personalized recommendations on the best places to visit, unmissable activities and useful tips for your stay in Lima. The afternoon is designed for your rest and adaptation, although if you wish, you can take advantage of it for a first exploration on your own. We recommend visiting the Malecón de Miraflores and enjoying a stroll along the seafront on the Costa Verde, or going to Larcomar, a shopping mall with stunning ocean views and a varied gastronomic offer. For this first day, we suggest opting for light meals to facilitate acclimatization to the new environment.
Lima
We will start the day early with an early pick up from your hotel for an approximately 5-hour tour of the city of Lima, divided into three stages: - Ancient Lima: Visit to Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca ceremonial center from 500 AD, testimony of the Lima civilization. - Colonial Lima: Tour of the Historic Center, where we will discover architectural gems such as the Palace of Justice, Plaza San Martin, La Merced Church, Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral of Lima, the Chocolate Museum and the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank. - Modern Lima: We end the tour in the modern district of Miraflores, with stops at the Parque del Amor and the Villena Bridge, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. To close the experience, we suggest lunch at Mangos Larcomar, a restaurant overlooking the sea that offers the best of Peruvian cuisine (lunch not included).
We start the day with a transfer from the hotel to Jorge Chavez Airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel to rest and adapt to the altitude. We recommend a light meal during the first hours. In the afternoon, we will start the City Tour in Cusco at 2:00 p.m., beginning with the Cusco Cathedral, a colonial jewel with valuable works of art. Then we will visit the Qoricancha, an ancient Inca temple dedicated to the Sun. We will continue to the nearby archaeological complexes: Sacsayhuaman, with its huge stone walls; Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center; and finally Tambomachay and Puka Pucara, where we will learn more about the importance of water and territorial control in the Inca Empire. We end the tour with a return to Cusco, leaving you near the Plaza de Armas to freely enjoy the historic center, the local gastronomy and the unique atmosphere of the city.
At 08:00 hrs we start the tour with pick up at your hotel, heading to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the Taray viewpoint, where you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. Then we will visit the traditional market of Pisaq, full of colors, handicrafts and local products. We continue to the Archaeological Park of Pisaq, to explore its terraces, temples and Inca vestiges. At noon, we head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch with typical flavors of the region. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Center, a jewel of Inca architecture with living history. At the end, you will be dropped off near the train station, from where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, hotel staff will be waiting to take you to your accommodation.
We start the day with breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, preparing for a day full of history and amazing landscapes. We will head to the bus station (CONSETUR) to go up to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and offers spectacular views of the natural surroundings. Upon arrival, we will begin a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours, visiting the main archaeological sites and learning about the history and architecture of the place. Afterwards, you will have free time to continue exploring and taking pictures on your own, enjoying the unique energy of this wonder of the world. We will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where lunch will be waiting for us at a local restaurant, ideal to recharge your batteries before the return trip. In the afternoon, we will take the train to Ollantaytambo, enjoying the Andean landscape. Upon arrival, a private transportation will take us back to Cusco, ending a day full of magic and history.
Vinicunca
We start very early (4:00-4:30 a.m.) with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, heading to the village of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast. Then, we continue the journey to the starting point of the trek. From there, we will begin an ascent of approximately 1 hour (2 km) among impressive Andean landscapes. Once at the summit of the Montaña de Colores, you will have about 40 minutes to admire the scenery, take pictures and connect with nature. Afterwards, we will start the descent to Cusipata, where a typical lunch awaits us to close the experience with local flavor. Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving around 17:00 hrs, with a heart full of memories.
Cusco
On our last day in Cusco, at a previously arranged time, our staff will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the airport. We will make sure you arrive early enough to check in and board your flight without any problems.
