We booked the Ouzoud Waterfalls trip with Click Excursions and would definitely recommend! Our driver Youssef Ahmed was lovely and knowledgeable, as well as a good driver. I'm a very nervous passenger so this was really appreciated! We accidentally didn't pay him enough at the end as well and he was kind enough to come to our riad to collect the outstanding amount rather than make us walk back. We were very embarrassed by this but he was very kind and understanding! With this trip you are really just paying for a driver to Ouzoud (as well as a stop at an argan oil place & Berber market) - it's about a three house drive each way so what we paid was really good value. If you book for four or more people you get a guide included, but there was just the two of us so we paid for a guide once we got there, which wasn't expensive at all. You can opt for the shorter or the longer trip with the guide - we went for the longer one and were very pleased we did! Our guide was great, spoke very good English and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He knew all the best photo spots too! It is quite steep at times, however I wore sandals and managed not to fall over and break anything. Trainers would have been better but hand luggage didn't allow for them! We stopped by some beautiful pools for a swim after the trek down, the water was absolute freezing though so we opted for dipping our toes in and relaxing with a drink. We then walked to the bottom of the waterfall and began climbing up again, where we stopped for lunch with the most incredible view. Our guide ensured we got the best restaurant with a good price, and left us in peace to enjoy our meal. The views on this trip are utterly stunning and well and truly worth it. To make it even better, there's monkeys around too! They will sit on your shoulders as you feed them which was pretty amazing. After about four hours we were utterly exhausted so enjoyed snoozing on the drive back with more amazing views. If we return to Marrakech we will definitely be using Click Excursions again!

My friend and I booked to go to the Ouzoud waterfalls after reading the amazing reviews about them on here. The falls were as wonderful as everyone else says and our driver, Otman was very good. He arrived on time and told us things about Morocco as he drove us to the falls. We had a comfortable big car all to ourselves which we really enjoyed. Otman arranged a guide for us and we are SO glad he did! Our guide, Mohammed, was excellent and really made the trip for us. He first took us to his home and made us the best mint and verbena tea of out holiday! He guided us along the valley away from the falls, then gradually back towards them. This meant we had the place to ourselves until we reached the falls, which was fantastic. He taught us a lot about the vegetation and other things as we walked and was very patient as we negotiated the path. (Wearing trainers or similar is a very good idea) We did the boat trip at the falls which was hilarious and well worth it. (Do take a plastic bag for your valuables as we got very wet, but had come prepared!) We enjoyed a leisurely lunch overlooking the falls and were very much left to take things at our own pace. We were with him for about 4 hours altogether and highly recommend asking for him if you want a guide. We stopped at an Argan oil production place on the as back, which was interesting. Overall we had a superb day out!

Visited the site from Marrakesh with Atlas walkers and Hassan and his team were excellent. Very attentive and always ready to help. Falls were beautiful and even had lunch on a terrace facing the falls. Definitely 10 out of 10.

We booked a trip to the falls in our hotel. It is quite the drive towards and from the falls, about 160-170 km from Marrakech. When arrived at Ouzoud (the town), we split in two groups: one group for the easy walk, and one group for the more adventurous walk. The easy walk still included a lot of stairs, so you might want to keep in mind when going there, that you'll have to descent and climb a lot of stairs to see the bottom of the falls. We took the more adventurous walk, through the trees, and descending down a path made by donkeys. Very nice view and lots of opportunities to take pictures. At the end of the walk you have a stunning view of the falls and you can take a little trip with an improvised boat/raft to go just near the falls. A lot locals are present as well, swimming and diving near the falls. We ate in a little restaurant with a view of the falls. The food was good and plentiful. Definitely worth visiting here, but keep in mind that you'll need to climb a lot of stairs.
