From Shoals, head southeast on US-72 E. Continue for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit onto AL-33 S toward Moulton. After about 14 miles, turn left onto AL-157 S. Continue for about 9 miles until you reach Mt. Hope. Once in Mt. Hope, look for signs directing you to Sipsey Wilderness. Follow the signs to the forest entrance. There is no entrance fee, but it is advisable to have a map or GPS for navigation.
