Follow the signs for 'Kalaja e Gjirokastrës'. No entrance fees are required to access the path leading to the castle, but there is an entry fee for the museum itself.

Be prepared for a steep and narrow road with oncoming traffic. An underground parking garage is available in the New Town for approximately €2 for 3 hours. From there, you can take a taxi or walk to the castle.
