Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Bariloche, take Bus 20 towards Llao Llao. The bus journey takes approximately 50 minutes. A SUBE card is required for payment; the fare is approximately 92 ARS. Get off at Puerto Pañuelo, the second to last stop. From there, walk along Circuito Chico for about 15 minutes (1 km) to reach the official park entrance and trailhead. Cost: 92 ARS per bus ride (requires SUBE card).

  • Walking

    From the Puerto Pañuelo bus stop, continue along the paved road (Circuito Chico) for approximately 1 km. The entrance to the Cerro Llao Llao trail will be on your right, well-marked with a sign for 'Villa Tacul - Cerro Llao Llao'. Follow this path to begin your ascent.

  • Car

    From Bariloche, drive west on Av. Exequiel Bustillo (Route 82) for approximately 25 km until it becomes Circuito Chico. Continue past Puerto Pañuelo. Look for the information center and parking area on the left. Alternatively, paid parking is available at Puerto Pañuelo for around 400 ARS per day. From the free parking area, walk 300 meters along Circuito Chico to the trailhead on the right. Parking can fill up quickly during peak season.
