Public Transport
From the center of San Carlos de Bariloche, go to the main bus terminal at Av. 12 de Octubre 100. Take bus line No. 10, 'Cto. Chico' or 'Lago Moreno'. Purchase a SUBE card if you don't have one, as it's needed to pay the bus fare. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at 'Bahía López'. From the bus stop, walk towards the lakeshore for about 15 minutes to reach Mirador Bahía López. A single bus fare costs around ARS 100-200.

Car
From Bariloche, take Avenida Exequiel Bustillo (Route 40) west along Nahuel Huapi Lake. Continue for approximately 25 km on Circuito Chico. Follow the signs for Bahía López. Turn onto the access road leading to the viewpoint. There is a parking area near the viewpoint. Be aware of reports of theft in the area and do not leave valuables in your car. Parking is free.

Walking
From Playa Bahía López, follow the well-marked trail to Mirador Brazo Tristeza. The trail starts near Hotel Alun Nehuen. The round-trip hike is approximately 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles) and is considered easy. The hike to the viewpoint takes about 40 minutes. Be cautious near the cliffs at the viewpoint.
