Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Bariloche, take Bus 20 towards Llao Llao. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the Puerto Pañuelo stop, which is the second to last stop on the route. From there, walk along the Circuito Chico (RP77) for about 1 km (15 minutes) to reach the official Llao Llao Park entrance, where you'll find a parking area and information center. The trailhead is located 300 meters past the Information Center. A SUBE card is required to pay the bus fare, which costs approximately 92 ARS per way. SUBE cards can be purchased and recharged at various kiosks in Bariloche. Be sure to wave down the bus to ensure it stops for you.

    From the Llao Llao Hotel, walk back down the hill for about 300 meters. Turn left to find the trailhead. Follow the signs for 'Villa Tacul - Cerro Llao Llao'. The trail is well-marked. After approximately 2 km, there will be a well-marked turn off to the left to head towards the peak.
