Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Bariloche, take Bus 20 to Puerto Pañuelo (Llao Llao) at km 25 of Av. Bustillo. From there, walk along the paved Circuito Chico road for 4 km to the Park Rangers' house; the trailhead is opposite the house. A SUBE card is needed for the bus fare. Check the bus timetable for current schedules. The bus fare is approximately 50 ARS.

  • Car

    Drive along the Circuito Chico loop road, 4 km past Puerto Pañuelo. Look for the parking area opposite the Park Rangers' home or the free parking area at Villa Tacul. From the parking area, the trailhead to Puente Romano is a short walk. Parking fee is approximately 100 ARS.

  • Walking

    From the Park Ranger's house on Circuito Chico, take the trail opposite the house. Immediately take a right. The trail passes the Puente Romano and continues to a viewpoint of Tacul Bay. Remember to register and pay admission to Llao Llao Municipal Park before entering.
