Public Transit
Start your journey at the Flagstaff Downtown Connection Center, located at 1 East Route 66. From there, take the Mountain Line bus Route 10 heading towards the Flagstaff Mall. Get off at the stop at the Flagstaff Mall. Next, transfer to the Route 66 bus heading to the 'Sunset Crater' stop. This bus will take you directly towards the park entrance. Plan for approximately 30-40 minutes for this journey, including transfer times.

If you prefer cycling, start from downtown Flagstaff and head north on N San Francisco Street. Continue onto N Fort Valley Road, which will take you to the intersection with Sunset Crater Road. From here, turn left onto Sunset Crater Road. The monument is roughly 14 miles away, so be prepared for a scenic ride that will take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
