From downtown Gilbert, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take the Route 136 bus towards Mesa. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Mesa Drive & Main Street stop. From there, transfer to Route 30 towards Apache Junction. Continue on this bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Goldfield Ghost Town stop. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes northwest along N Mammoth Mine Rd to reach Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours Inc.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Gilbert. Start at the Gilbert Historical Museum and head east on Page Ave. Continue on E Juniper Ave until you reach S Greenfield Rd. Turn left on S Greenfield Rd and follow it until you reach E Southern Ave. Take a right on E Southern Ave and continue straight until you get to N Ironwood Dr. Turn left on N Ironwood Dr, which will lead you to N Mammoth Mine Rd. Follow N Mammoth Mine Rd for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Goldfield Ghost Town.

If you are up for a long walk, start from the Gilbert Town Square. Head south on Gilbert Rd until you reach E Queen Creek Rd. Turn left and walk east on E Queen Creek Rd, which will turn into E Southern Ave. Continue walking for about 5 miles until you reach S Ironwood Dr. Turn right on S Ironwood Dr and walk north until you get to N Mammoth Mine Rd. Turn left on N Mammoth Mine Rd and walk for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Goldfield Ghost Town.
