From any location in Tonto National Forest, head towards the nearest main road leading to Apache Junction. If you are near the Superstition Wilderness area, you can take the N Apache Trail (AZ-88) south towards Apache Junction. Continue on AZ-88 until you reach the intersection with US-60. Take the ramp onto US-60 E towards Globe. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 197 for AZ-88 toward Apache Junction. Follow AZ-88 N and then turn left onto N Mammoth Mine Rd. The Goldfield Historical Society will be on your right at 4650 N Mammoth Mine Rd.
