After about 20 miles on AZ-86, turn left onto Kitt Peak Road (also known as AZ-386). Follow Kitt Peak Road for about 12 miles until you reach the Kitt Peak National Observatory. There is a fee of $5 per vehicle for parking, so be prepared with cash.
