If you are driving from anywhere in the Huachuca Mountains, head to AZ-83 N. From there, merge onto I-10 W. Continue on I-10 W for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 281 for AZ-86 toward Sells. After about 20 miles on AZ-86, turn left onto Kitt Peak Road (also known as AZ-386). Follow Kitt Peak Road for about 12 miles until you reach the Kitt Peak National Observatory. There is a fee of $5 per vehicle for parking, so be prepared with cash.
