There's a parking area available where you can leave your car. Once parked, you can walk to the viewpoint to enjoy the scenic vistas.

Public transportation options are very limited within Petrified Forest National Park. If you are relying on public transport, your best option would be to first take a bus to Holbrook, Arizona. From Holbrook, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to the park entrance, as there is no direct public transport available into the park. Once in the park, follow the same directions as if you were driving: head east on Petrified Forest Road for about 10 miles, and look for the signs to Kachina Point on your right.
