Car
If you are traveling by car within Prescott National Forest, start by heading to AZ-89A S. From there, take the exit for AZ-89A S towards Cottonwood. Continue on AZ-89A S for approximately 24 miles until you reach the town of Clarkdale. In Clarkdale, turn left onto Tuzigoot Rd. Follow Tuzigoot Rd for about 1 mile, and you will see Tuzigoot National Monument on your right. There is a parking area available at the monument.

Public transportation options are limited in this area. However, you can take the Verde Lynx bus service from Prescott to Cottonwood. Check the current schedule for routes that operate between Prescott and Cottonwood. Once you arrive in Cottonwood, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Tuzigoot National Monument, which is about 5 miles away. Be sure to check for availability and costs associated with the taxi or rideshare service.

If you prefer to bike, you can cycle from Prescott National Forest to Tuzigoot National Monument. Follow the same route as if you were driving: take AZ-89A S towards Cottonwood.
