Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the nearest exit from Prescott National Forest that leads to Prescott. Use AZ-89 or AZ-69 to get to the city of Prescott. Once you’re on AZ-89, drive south for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with E Gurley St. Turn left onto E Gurley St and continue for about 1 mile until you reach S Cortez St. Turn right onto S Cortez St, and Courthouse Plaza will be on your left at 120 S Cortez St.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local bus service, Yavapai Regional Transit. Board a bus heading towards Prescott. Depending on the route, you may need to transfer at the downtown Prescott transfer station. From there, it’s a short walk to Courthouse Plaza. Head south on S Montezuma St for about 0.3 miles, then take a left onto E Gurley St, followed by a right onto S Cortez St. The plaza will be on your left at 120 S Cortez St.

• Bicycle

  If you are biking from Prescott National Forest, follow the same route as driving. Make your way to AZ-89 and head south. There are bike lanes on some sections of the road. Once in Prescott, continue on E Gurley St until you reach S Cortez St, then turn right. Courthouse Plaza will be on your left at 120 S Cortez St. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to walk from a nearby campsite or area in Prescott National Forest, you can make your way to Prescott city by walking along designated trails that lead to city roads. Navigate towards S Cortez St by following the signs for Prescott. Upon reaching the city, use sidewalks along E Gurley St and S Cortez St to reach Courthouse Plaza, located at 120 S Cortez St.
