    The Verde Canyon Railroad departs from the Clarkdale Train Depot at 300 N Broadway, Clarkdale, AZ 86324. From Phoenix, take I-17 north to exit 287 (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Clarkdale). Follow Hwy 260 west for about 14 miles to the fifth traffic light, then turn left onto Main Street (Historic 89A). Continue through Old Town Cottonwood, past Tuzigoot National Monument, and turn right onto Broadway. Cross the one-lane bridge; the parking lot is directly across from the depot. Parking is free.

    From Sedona, go southwest on Hwy 89A towards Cottonwood. Turn right onto Cornville Road/Mingus Avenue and proceed west 1.8 miles to North Main Street (Historic 89A). Turn right and continue on Main Street through Old Town Cottonwood, past the turnoff for Tuzigoot National Monument, until you see the sign for Verde Canyon Railroad. Turn right onto Broadway, cross the one-lane bridge, and park in the designated parking area across the street from the depot. Parking is free.
