From downtown Scottsdale, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Valley Metro Bus Route 72 heading eastbound. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the Apache Junction stop. From there, transfer to Bus Route 104 towards the Lost Dutchman Museum. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop at E Apache Trail.
Ride-Sharing Service
Open your ride-sharing app (like Uber or Lyft) and set your destination to 'Superstition Mountain - Lost Dutchman Museum'. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes from central Scottsdale, depending on traffic. Simply follow the app's directions and wait for your driver to arrive.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Scottsdale. Head east on E Indian School Rd until you reach N Scottsdale Rd. Turn left and continue north until you reach E McDowell Rd. Take a right and follow the road until you reach the Apache Trail. Continue east on Apache Trail for about 15 miles until you arrive at the museum. Be sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated!
Walking
If you are staying nearby, consider walking to the museum. Head east on E Camelback Rd until you reach N Hayden Rd. Continue north and turn right onto E Thomas Rd. Follow this road until it intersects with Apache Trail, then turn left. Continue walking east for about 2 miles until you reach the museum. Please note, this is a long walk and may take over an hour.
