From any location in Tonto National Forest, head towards US-60 E. Depending on your starting point, use local roads to reach US-60. Once on US-60 E, continue for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 226 for AZ-177 S towards Superior. Merge onto AZ-177 S and continue for about 12 miles. Follow the signs to Boyce Thompson Arboretum, which will be located at 37615 E Arboretum Way, Superior, AZ 85173. Parking is available on-site, and there is a fee of $15 per vehicle for entry.

From Phoenix, take the Valley Metro Route 514 to Apache Junction. From there, transfer to Route 685, which goes to Superior.
