Car
From Aparan Reservoir, head southeast on the main road towards the town of Aparan. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction where you can turn onto the M4 highway. Turn left onto the M4 and drive for about 10 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you towards Azat Reservoir as you approach the area. You will see a small road leading off the highway towards the reservoir. Follow this road and keep an eye out for signs to guide you to the parking area near the reservoir.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start at the bus station in Aparan. Look for a bus or marshrutka (minibus) that heads towards Yerevan and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Azat Reservoir. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you are dropped off, you will need to walk for about 2 kilometers to reach the reservoir. Follow the road signs or ask locals for directions to ensure you are headed in the right direction.

For a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Aparan to Azat Reservoir. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride should take around 25 minutes, and you can expect to pay between 5000-7000 AMD depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The taxi will take you directly to the parking area near the reservoir.
