Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Areni village. Head southeast on the main road (R2) towards the village of Jermuk. After approximately 2 km, you will see a sign for Դժոխքի ձոր (Dzhokhki Dzor) on your left. Turn left onto the unpaved road and continue for about 1 km until you reach the parking area near the entrance to the hiking area. Please note that the road may be bumpy, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Public Transportation
To reach Դժոխքի ձոր via public transport, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from the Areni bus station heading towards Jermuk. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the Dzhokhki Dzor. This may require some negotiation, as not all drivers are familiar with the exact location. The fare is approximately 300 AMD (Armenian Dram). After getting off, you will still need to walk about 1 km along an unpaved road to reach the entrance of the hiking area.
