Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, head to Areni village. From Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Vayots Dzor region. After approximately 100 km, follow signs for Areni and take the H-40 road. Once you reach Areni, follow the H-40 road through the village. Areni Wine Winery is located on H-40, just a few minutes from the village center. Look for the winery on your right-hand side. Parking is available on-site.

    To reach Areni Wine Winery using public transportation, first take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan to Areni. Buses leave from the Kilikia Bus Station in Yerevan and the journey takes about 2-2.5 hours. Upon arrival at Areni, you can either walk or consider taking a taxi to the winery, which is approximately 2 km from the bus stop. Taxis in Areni are reasonably priced, so expect to pay around 1,000-1,500 AMD for the short drive.
