If you are traveling by car, start from Goris, which is about 30 km away from Tatev. Drive south on the M2 highway towards Tatev. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Tatev and follow the signs. The road will take you through beautiful landscapes. As you approach Tatev, look for signs directing you to the Wings of Tatev. There is parking available near the cable car station.

From Goris, you can take a shared taxi or minibus (marshrutka) to Tatev. These depart from the central bus station in Goris. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tatev, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the cable car station. Follow the signs towards the Wings of Tatev.

Once you reach the cable car station in Tatev, you can purchase tickets for the Wings of Tatev cable car. The ticket price is approximately 3,000 AMD (about $8 USD) for a round trip. The cable car ride offers stunning views and takes about 12 minutes to reach the top. Be sure to check the operational hours before your visit, as the cable car operates from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
