From Tatev Monastery, start by heading south on the road leading away from the monastery. Follow the signs towards the village of Tatev and continue on the main road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Khndzoresk. Turn left onto the road marked for Khndzoresk and continue for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Пещерный город Хндзореск (Khndzoresk Cave Town). The cave town is near the coordinates GC2M+M87, and you will find parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Пещерный город Хндзореск using public transportation, first, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Tatev Monastery to Goris. The marshrutka departs from near the entrance of the monastery. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 300 AMD. Once in Goris, transfer to another marshrutka heading to Khndzoresk. The local drivers will usually know the destination. The ride from Goris to Khndzoresk takes around 20-30 minutes and costs about 200-300 AMD.
