Car
Start from Atherton town center and head west on the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1). Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mareeba-Dimbulah Road. Turn left onto Mareeba-Dimbulah Road and drive for approximately 22 kilometers. You will arrive in Mareeba. From Mareeba, continue on the Mareeba-Dimbulah Road until you reach the junction with the Mossman-Mareeba Road. Turn left onto Mossman-Mareeba Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Kahlpahlim Rock. Follow the signs to the parking area at the base of the rock.

If you are using public transportation, start your journey at the Atherton bus station. Take the bus service to Mareeba, which operates several times a day. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Mareeba, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Kahlpahlim Rock, which is roughly 15 kilometers away from the Mareeba town center. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before you set off, as prices can vary.
