If you're traveling by car from the central Atherton area, take the Gillies Highway (State Route 25) towards Gordonvale. Continue on the Gillies Highway for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Kennedy Highway. Turn left onto the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1) and drive for about 10 kilometers. Rainforestation Nature Park will be on your left at 1030 Kennedy Hwy, Kuranda QLD 4881. There is parking available on site.

To reach Rainforestation Nature Park using public transportation, you can take a bus from Atherton to Kuranda. The bus service is provided by TransLink. Board the bus at the Atherton Bus Station and travel to the Kuranda bus stop. From the Kuranda bus stop, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to Rainforestation Nature Park. Head southeast on Thoona Road, then turn left onto Kennedy Highway, and the park will be on your right at 1030 Kennedy Hwy, Kuranda QLD 4881. Be sure to check the TransLink website for the latest bus schedules and fares.
