From Cairns city center, head to the Cairns Central Station located at 1-21 McLeod Street. Look for the number 110 bus heading towards Kuranda. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Kuranda Village stop. Once you arrive in Kuranda, walk towards Rob Veivers Drive and follow the signs to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Start your journey at the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway terminal located at 6 Skyrail Drive, Smithfield. Take the cable car to Kuranda, which offers stunning views of the rainforest.
