  • Public Transport

    From Sydney, take the Blue Mountains Line train to Katoomba Station. Trains depart regularly from Central Station. The trip takes approximately 2 hours. From Katoomba Station, take a local bus (e.g., the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus) or a taxi to Echo Point. The bus trip is short. A single train fare from Sydney to Katoomba costs approximately $6-$10. A bus from Katoomba Station to Echo Point is around $2-$5. A taxi from Katoomba Station to Echo Point will cost approximately $10-$15.

  • Driving

    From Sydney, take the Great Western Highway (M4 and A32) towards Katoomba. At Katoomba, turn left off the Great Western Highway at the traffic lights, then follow the signs to Three Sisters and Echo Point. Parking is available in a bitumen carpark near Echo Point, but time limits and parking fees apply. Parking costs approximately $4-$6 per hour, with a day pass available for around $38. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends.

  • Walking

    From Katoomba town center, you can walk to Echo Point. Follow Katoomba Street or Lurline Street to Echo Point Road. The walk is approximately 2.5 kilometers and takes around 30-40 minutes. Be aware that it is uphill.
