Car
If you're driving, start from the Katoomba area. Take the Great Western Highway (A32) and follow the signs for Echo Point. Park in the designated parking area at Echo Point. Once you arrive, you can access the Giant Stairway from the Echo Point lookout. The stairway entrance is located just to the right of the lookout area.

Public Transportation
To reach Echo Point by public transport, take a train to Katoomba Station. From Katoomba Station, you can catch the 'Blue Mountains Explorer Bus' or a local bus (Route 686 or 687) that goes to Echo Point. The bus will drop you off near the lookout. Once at Echo Point, you can access the Giant Stairway from the lookout area.

Walking
From Echo Point, begin your descent on the Giant Stairway. The stairway has over 800 steps and offers spectacular views of the Three Sisters rock formation. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and take breaks as needed. The stairway will lead you down to the valley floor, where you will eventually reach the Scenic World area. Follow the signs to Scenic World once you reach the bottom.
