Car
From Sydney, take the M4 Motorway west towards Penrith. Continue on M4 until it turns into the Great Western Highway (A32) near Emu Plains. Follow the Great Western Highway for approximately 90 km until you reach Katoomba. In Katoomba, follow signs for Blue Mountains National Park. Turn onto Cliff Drive, which will lead you to the Tallawalla Lookout. There is limited parking available near the lookout.

Catch a train from Sydney's Central Station to Katoomba Station on the Blue Mountains Line. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once at Katoomba Station, you can either take a local bus (Route 686) towards the Blue Mountains National Park or consider a taxi for a more direct route. If you take the bus, get off at the Stop near Cliff Drive and walk to the Tallawalla Lookout, which is approximately a 20-minute walk.
