Start at the Brisbane Central Station. Take the 400 bus towards 'Garden City'. This bus runs frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the 'Cleveland' station. From Cleveland, transfer to the 'Cleveland to Stradbroke Island' ferry at the ferry terminal. The ferry ride will take about 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at the Stradbroke Island ferry terminal, you will need to take the bus to Point Lookout. Look for the bus stop located right outside the ferry terminal. Take the bus number 1 (Point Lookout) which will take you directly to Point Lookout, and the journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

After getting off at the Point Lookout bus stop, walk towards Dickson Way. Cylinder Beach is located at 164 Dickson Way. It’s a pleasant short walk of about 10 minutes from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards Cylinder Beach, and you will find yourself at the stunning beach.
