From Brisbane city center, make your way to the Brisbane City Ferry Terminal located at 1 Eagle Street. Board a ferry to North Stradbroke Island. The ferry ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal on North Stradbroke Island, follow the signs to the bus stop outside the terminal. Take the 25 or 26 bus heading towards Point Lookout. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Cylinder Beach Foreshore, which is on Mooloomba Road. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to Cylinder Beach Foreshore.

Start at the Brisbane Transit Centre located at 151 Roma Street. Catch the 263 bus towards Cleveland Station. This bus ride will take about an hour. At Cleveland Station, transfer to the 258 bus heading to Point Lookout. This bus will take approximately another 45 minutes. When you reach Point Lookout, get off at the stop nearest to Cylinder Beach Foreshore on Mooloomba Road. From there, it’s just a short walk down to the beach.
