Getting there

Car

If you are driving, head to Wilsons Promontory National Park. From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Cranbourne and then follow the signs to the South Gippsland Highway (A440). Continue on the A440 until you reach Fish Creek where you will turn onto the Meeniyan-Promontory Road. Follow this road until you reach the entrance of Wilsons Promontory National Park. From the entrance, it's a 30-minute drive to Squeaky Beach. Note that there is a national park entry fee of approximately AUD 17 per vehicle.

Public Transportation

To reach Squeaky Beach using public transport, start by taking a V/Line train from Melbourne to Leongatha. The journey takes about 2.5 hours. Once at Leongatha, transfer to a local bus service (check schedule as it may vary) that operates to Wilsons Promontory. The bus will drop you off near the park entrance, from where you will need to hire a taxi or ride-share service to reach Squeaky Beach, which is around a 30-minute drive away. Be sure to check the bus and train schedules in advance.

Taxi/Ride-Share

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or booking a ride-share service (like Uber) from Leongatha to Squeaky Beach.
