From there, walk across the road towards the river and you will see the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) located at 180 St Kilda Rd. It's a short stroll of about 5 minutes.

  • Bus

    For those near the city, take the route 216, 219, or 220 buses towards St Kilda. Get off at the 'St Kilda Rd/City Rd' stop. After you disembark, walk north along St Kilda Rd for about 10 minutes. The NGV will be on your right-hand side, just past the Arts Centre Melbourne.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the Southbank area or near the Yarra River, you can walk directly to the NGV. Head towards the riverbank, follow the path north until you reach the intersection of St Kilda Rd. Cross the road, and you will see the gallery on your left at 180 St Kilda Rd. This walk takes approximately 15 minutes from the Southbank Promenade.

  • Train

    Take a train to Flinders Street Station, the main station in the city. From Flinders Street Station, walk towards St Kilda Rd by heading south along Flinders St. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto St Kilda Rd and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the NGV at 180 St Kilda Rd.
