Tram stops are located nearby on Swanston Street (Stop 11) and Collins Street (Stop 6). Tram routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 11, 12, 16, 48, 64, 67, 72, and 109 all stop close to the theatre. A short trip on the tram will cost around $5. From Southern Cross Station, the number 11 tram will take you directly to the theatre.

The Regent Theatre is located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD and is easily walkable from many nearby locations. From Flinders Street Station, walk north along Swanston Street, then turn right onto Collins Street. The theatre will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5 minutes. From Federation Square, walk west along Flinders Street, then turn right onto Swanston Street and follow the directions above.

A short taxi ride from Southern Cross Station to the Regent Theatre will cost approximately $9-$11.
