    From the main entrance of Mount Field National Park, head southwest on Mount Field Road towards the junction with Gordon River Road. Continue on Mount Field Road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the T-junction at the junction with the Lyell Highway (A10). Turn left onto the Lyell Highway and follow it for about 5 kilometers. Take the exit towards Stowport and follow the signs to Fern Glade Platypus Reserve, which is located on Fernglade Road. The reserve is approximately 2 kilometers down Fernglade Road, and there is a parking area available for visitors.
