The Sheffield Murals Self-Guided Walking Tour begins in the heart of Sheffield, easily accessible from most points in town. If you're starting from the Sheffield Visitor Information Centre at 5 Pioneer Crescent, simply step outside and begin exploring the murals along Main Street and the surrounding areas. The murals are located within a concentrated area, making it easy to see many in a short amount of time. Allow 1-2 hours to see most of the murals. No costs are associated with this guidance.

Public Transport
If arriving by public transport from Devonport or Launceston, the bus will likely drop you off on High Street. From there, it's a short walk to Pioneer Crescent and the main mural area. Head east towards Mount Roland, and you'll find the Sheffield Visitor Information Centre, a good starting point for your tour. Bus fares from Devonport to Sheffield typically range from $3 - $8. From Launceston, the fare is between $2 - $5.

If driving to Sheffield, parking is available on Main Street and surrounding areas. The Sheffield Visitor Information Centre also has a large car park suitable for RVs. From the parking area, the murals are easily accessible on foot. Parking is generally free, but it's advisable to check for any parking restrictions, especially during peak tourist season or events. Short term parking is available at the Sheffield Recreation Reserve for $10 per vehicle per night.
