Getting There

  If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in the Outback, such as Charleville or Longreach. Follow the Warrego Highway (A2) heading east, then take the exit towards the Carnarvon Highway (A71) heading north. Continue on the A71 until you reach the junction with the Bruce Highway (A1). Take the Bruce Highway south and follow the signs for Gold Coast. As you approach Paradise Point, take the exit toward Oxley Drive. Follow Oxley Drive until you reach the Esplanade, where you will find Paradise Point Reserve at 116 The Esplanade. There is usually free parking available along the street, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

From Brisbane, you can catch a train to Helensvale Station and transfer to the local bus service (Route 704 or similar) that goes to Paradise Point. The bus will take you directly to the Esplanade stop. The total travel time may vary, typically around 2-3 hours depending on connections.
