After approximately 75 kilometers, take the exit for the Gold Coast (Exit 77) and continue on Smith Street Motorway (State Route 10) until you reach Southport. Follow the signs for the Broadwater and then take Ferry Road towards the Gold Coast Seaway. Once you reach the Seaway, park your car at the Southport Yacht Club or nearby public parking. From there, you can catch a ferry to South Stradbroke Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around AUD 20 per person one-way.
