Walking
If you are starting from the center of Port Douglas, head south on Macrossan Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Wharf Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and follow it until you reach the end where it meets the Mossman-Daintree Road. At this junction, turn right onto Mossman-Daintree Road and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the turnoff for Black Mountain Road on your left. Take the turn onto Black Mountain Road and walk for another 1 kilometer. The Bump Track trailhead will be on your right near the address 4263/4311 Black Mountain Rd.

Starting from the Port Douglas Marina, head northeast on the bike path along the coastline. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Mowbray Road. Turn left onto Mowbray Road and cycle for approximately 2 kilometers. You will then reach the intersection with Black Mountain Road. Turn right onto Black Mountain Road, and shortly after, you will find the Bump Track trailhead located at 4263/4311 Black Mountain Rd on your left.

To reach the Bump Track trailhead using public transport, first, walk to the nearest bus stop at Macrossan Street. From there, take the local bus service heading towards Mossman. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Mossman-Daintree Road and Black Mountain Road. This bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you are dropped off, walk along Black Mountain Road for about 1 kilometer, and the Bump Track trailhead will be on your right at the address 4263/4311 Black Mountain Rd.
